News & Events
Feature articles related to collections and exhibitions, book and reviews and membership news have now been integrated into a new, more dynamic website, taking the place of BROADSIDE, TLA’s newsletter, published from 1940 until 2014. Features and news posted to the site will be collected into a pdf digest several times a year for those who prefer to read it this way, and as an archival aid. The TLA-L listserv continues as a forum for the communication of news among TLA members; TLA is also on Facebook and Twitter, and has a RSS feed.
Events planned by TLA include: an Annual Business Meeting and Awards Ceremony in October, occasional Symposia, and participation in conferences of the American Society for Theatre Research (ASTR), American Library Association (ALA), and the International Association of Libraries and Museums of the Performing Arts (SIBMAS). We plan to make abstracts and other documentation from past conferences and symposia available online over the coming years.
