Board Elections 2018-2020
Dear TLA membership,
On behalf of the Theatre Library Association Board, I invite and encourage members interested in the opportunity of serving on the Board to submit a nomination form for our upcoming election. The Election will be for three open positions on the TLA Board for a 2018-2020 term, and we are currently recruiting TLA members who wish to be on the election slate. Nominations are due for consideration by the Board on or before November 20, 2017.
This year, the Theatre Library Association annual election was unfortunately delayed, and the Board has approved a process to remedy this with an electronic ballot in December. In accordance with the TLA bylaws: In the absence of a nominating committee, Board nominations may be entered by petition of ten members eligible to vote and shall be filed with the Executive Secretary by December 1. Each nomination must be accompanied by the nominee’s written statement of acceptance along with a biographical sketch. (Bylaws, Article IV.E.4, with ad hoc revision of slate deadline.) The slate will be distributed electronically. Newly elected members will be announced prior to the Winter Board meeting and posted to the membership on this website.
